Pocket Fortune is an ode to the delight of stumbling upon a fated message, whether you understand it yet or not, it feels meant for you. I chose fortunes that are connections to the heavens, our earth and the fates.
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, never let it fade away. She’s so lucky, she’s a star. Wish upon a shooting star. Stars are symbols of magic and the divine, they are light-producing balls of burning gas, and I love incorporating their symbolism in my work.
Three fortunes are presented in the work for visitors to take at the chance meeting.
