ARDEN + WHITE is pleased to announce a summer group show Natural Recall bringing together a group of artists whose works, both figurative and abstract, are shaped by the lasting imprint of the natural world. Whether through the depiction of recognizable forms or the translation of nature’s essence into rhythm, structure, or material presence, these works reveal nature not as a distant reference, but as a generative force—conscious or instinctive—arising from an inherent affinity between the human psyche and the organic realm.
The exhibition traces the quiet ways natural phenomena shape and stir visual thought. Nature moves quietly through the work—not always seen, but always felt. Its patterns of rhythm, decay, and renewal breathe through form and gesture, whispering their origin in line, in texture, in hue. Even when not named, the natural world lingers like memory—abstracted, embodied, and alive.
In Natural Recall, nature operates beyond the role of subject. It becomes a mode of transmission—manifesting as method, metaphor, and memory. The works on view register this transmission as depiction, as impression, as an echo, and intuitive structure—reminding us that the natural world does not simply surround us, but continuously shapes the way we see, sense, and make.
Natural Recall will run from July 16th - August 16th.
