Graziela Guardino (b.1979) is a Brazilian-born Australian artist known for her minimalist woven painting-sculptures. She holds MFA degrees from RMIT University (Hong Kong) and UNSW Art & Design. Through deconstructing linen, she redefines painting and textile mediums, exploring themes of nature, femininity, and ancestry. Her work integrates mystical textile traditions with contemporary abstraction, bridging ancestral knowledge with modern perspectives.
Guardino has exhibited internationally, with works in collections across Brazil, Italy, Hong Kong, and beyond. She won the 2021 Waverley Art Prize and participated in a 2024 Bundanon residency focused on sustainable textile installations.
