ARDEN + WHITE GALLERY is pleased to present Delicate Forms, an online exhibition debuting a selection of figurative paintings from gallery roster artist, Kristen Giorgi. Known for her fascination with the female form, this series of nude artworks delves into the interplay of subject and space, all within her distinctive impressionistic style.
Delicate Forms continues Giorgi’s aim to emphasize the female form in her painting style but with a fresh perspective and altered contours. The juxtaposition of angular indoor settings against the fluidity of the forms evokes a newfound fascination and emotion. Several works unveil hidden paintings within the composition, enticing the viewer to explore what visually lies ahead.
Giorgi's art, however, goes beyond mere aesthetics. It surveys themes of escapism and recollections of idyllic moments in picturesque settings.
